SRA for Certified Athletic Trainers
- SRA in Athletic Training establishes a working knowledge of ASR soft tissue effects on axial and peripheral biomechanics. This is doubly powerful to the ATC in that SRA protocols and training are available for injury recovery and prevention and sports performance enhancement.
- The ATC is trained in identifying contracted, fatigued, or weakened muscles and ligaments originating from the axial spinal reflex, applying specific exercises to assist in recovery, balance, and symmetry, and useful strategies to facilitate ROM and pain reduction both post trauma and post surgical. With additional SRA performance specific training, impressive and consistent gains in strength, endurance and post competition and training recovery can be made.
- Peripheral joint conditions including lateral epichondolitis, rotator cuff syndrome, knee arthralgia, and strategies to significantly improve their functional status are included in the SRA system.
