SRA: Spinal Reflex Analysis
- Spinal Reflex Analysis is a system of procedures and protocols developed to identify and treat Axial Spinal Reflexes and their associated soft tissue reactions, structural, and neurological reactions.
- Axial Spinal Reflexes (ASR's) are hardwired into our systems at our very core. No aspect of our physical body can bypass this basic pathway or remain unaffected by these fundamental reflex reactions. Modern lifestyles "turn on" ASR's in a number of ways including stress, repetitive motion, poor ergonomics, diet, environmental and dietary toxins, lack of exercise, trauma and other causative factors.
- ASR's will cause prolonged muscle and ligament contraction, leading to muscle weakness, fatigue, spasms, trigger points, myofascial pain, distorted posture, scoliosis and aberrant joint motion. Additional prolonged ligament contraction results in joint pain, sclerotomal pain, nerve compression, and degenerative arthritis.
- In essence, the ASR will cause stiffness, muscle imbalance, fatigue, poor joint tracking, pain and more.
- SRA training provides rapid identification, accurate treatment and powerful management of the ASR process. SRA is the most powerful system available today for managing the bodies' neuro-musculo-skeletal system and achieving maximum performance.
- If you practice in the field of physical medicine or athletic performance, you constantly encounter the ASR process whether you understand it or not.
- SRA is the only system available to reduce and correct the Axial Spinal Reflex.
